Researchers in an University in England have found that dogs are smarter than cats. This after conducting studies and tests on these canines in their University. While the report is that this finding has broken a myth that cats are smarter than dogs, one finds it difficult to agree as to who believed this myth in the first place. The general impression we all have is that dogs are definitely smarter than cats and that is one reason why they are being used in many services like police, sheep rearing, sledging, security etc.. So the researchers have not busted any myth but only confirmed a fact that dogs are smarter than cats through their tests and studies. One also wonders whether such a study is essential in the first place since the whole world knows and would agree that dogs are smarter than cats and from time immemorial dogs have been man's best friends because of their intelligence, shrewdness, hard work and loyalty!
