The West Going East!

Since Swami Vivekananda gave that mind blowing speech at Chicago at the Parliament of Religions more than a century ago, the West has been looking more towards the East for that eternal peace. The are billionaires in the West unable to get a peaceful sleep or the satisfaction of leading a contented life while there are millions in India who live happily with just one square meal a day. There is a blessing in the East which goes like this " May You Live Everyday of Your Life". Most of us who run behind material benefits and money that facilitates material benefits fail to live most of our days in our life. The West is slowly realising that all the riches cannot give that self satisfaction which one can get by living some part of the day for others. Mother Therasa realised this. Annie Besant realised this. Many from West are travelling to countries like India, China and Japan in search of that peaceful living which all their money is unable to give!
